DELMARVA DENTAL SERVICES PA is looking for a motivated and friendly Dental Business Assistant to join our growing team in Salisbury, MD! Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Process patient billing, insurance claims, and handle insurance verification
- Collect and post payments, manage accounts receivable, and handle financial arrangements
- Answer multi-line phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage correspondence
- Maintain and update accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the day
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office front desk or administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with dental insurance billing, coding, and claims processing
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
- Detail-oriented with accurate data entry and record-keeping abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or healthcare administration coursework a plus

Compensation: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
